Mike Compton started his first term as a Councilman on January 1, 2012, after being elected by his constituents during his initial Council campaign in November 2011. Mike was elected as the Ward 2 Council Representative. Mike's current term runs through December 31, 2015.
Message from Ward 2 Councilman Mike Compton:
"After living in the Pataskala area for over 25 years, I feel confident that I can be in tune with the residents' concerns while I represent Ward 2. I am also a representative of the entire City, which includes Columbia Center and Summit Station. We all must strive to continue to work on blending our beautiful countrysides with our three downtown areas. We need to do it with a common sense approach and with the intentions of what is best for all of our residents. Basic services, like road repair, police enforcement, drainage issues, snow plowing and salting, and right-of-way mowing are extremely important issues to me. I will strive to represent my fellow residents in these areas, and with whatever else comes before Council. Our rural history is rich, and we have so much to offer young and old alike. The Annual Street Fair, a new museum, a Farmers' Market, a pool and plenty of parks, the Annual Power Show, parades, you name it! Pataskala is alive and well.
Communication is the key, so please contact me at 740-927-5757 or 614-218-3442, or by e-mail at mcompton@ci.pataskala.oh.us with input, questions, compliments, or complaints. I also invite you to attend Council meetings and to get involved with your Pataskala." |
