Pataskala contracts with Waste Management for residential waste, recycling, and yard waste collection.  The current contract for these services expires on September 30, 2010. Waste Management collects residential waste, recycling, and yard waste each Tuesday for the entire city.

 

The current cost for residential waste, recycling, and yard waste pickup is $11 per month. Additionally, Waste Management charges a fuel surcharge that is based on the U.S. Department of Energy's weekly national average price of diesel fuel index. The fuel charge will increase or decrease quarterly, based on the fuel index.

 

If you would like to participate in the weekly curbside recycling, which is included in the $11 monthly service charge, please call the Waste Management customer service department at 1-800-343-6047. Upon, an 18-gallon recycling bin will be delivered to your home. As an additional service, residents may rent a 96-gallon wheeled waste cart for an additional $3 per month.
