| Pataskala installed its original wastewater treatment plant in 1967. That plant had a treatment capacity of 500,000 gallons per day. In 2000 the plant was upgraded from a simple lagoon type plant to one that uses mechanical aeration to treat the wastewater. The new plant has a treatment capacity of 1,100,000 gallons per day and is designed to expand to 2,200,000 gallons per day. The plant is presently treating an average of 750,000 gallons per day. |
